Then up pops Inspector Richard Clare to 'de-arrest' Mr Bradbury and then refuse to take a complaint against Tyler.
Clare has history for alleged assault and might not have been best qualified to deal with this incident.
His former employer, Lancs Police prosecuted him over a woman being elbowed down a flight a stairs at a wedding reception.
The jury cleared Clare. As did WYP PSD over the incident.
DC Tyler received words of advice.
Due to a number of incidents, seven cases against WYP for wrongful arrest and assault resulted in a five figure settlement being agreed and paid.
